WELCOME TO DUSK & DAWN DOMES

  • Perched high within the mesmerizing Waitakere Ranges, a winding road lifts you from the clutches of everyday chaos, spiralling upwards until you reach your sanctuary - twin geodesic glass domes of 6m each. Suspended 395m above sea level, these domes encapsulate the perfect blend of luxury and nature.

  • As spectacular sunrises wash light over the valley, enjoy a coffee as native birds serenade you. Go surfing at Piha or explore one of many hikes in the bush, minutes away. Return to the luxury of your domes and watch the moon and stars through the glass ceiling as the Ruru heralds the end of the day.

  • Escape and Elevate: Find yourself surrounded by giant native trees and bushes as New Zealand birds like the Tui serenade you. Bask in the north easterly vistas overlooking Auckland city, where the horizon stretches from the majestic Rangitoto volcano, past the shores of Waiheke and Little Barrier islands, and reaches the tranquil waters of the Manakau harbour. Experience Unparalleled Beauty: Greet the day with spectacular sunrises, painting the skies in shades of hope and promise. As dusk descends, the domes transform into celestial observatories. Lay back and get lost in the Milky Way's astral dance or trace the moon's silvery arc across the night. Snuggled into luxurious Egyptian Cotton sheets, and a NZ wool duvet, you can let your troubles snooze away. Your booking would include the use of both domes.

  • The one is a bedroom with a Queen bed and a seating area, the other is the kitchen/lounge. You also have the deck space in between to enjoy when the weather is good. There is a separate toilet/shower house outside the domes. This is a glamping experience. This spot is right off the street, so it is not as secluded as a 30km drive into nowhere, but you do get the sense of being away from everything and having nature right on your doorstep. You can have a look on a map to see we are surrounded by the native bush and high up on the ridgeline. We would love to accommodate you, so if you have any questions, please ask! PLEASE NOTE: There is a tiny home on site that is occupied by the owners. The fenced area around the tiny home is not to be accessed by guests. There is a shared parking area between our tiny and the domes.
